CCMT Counselling 2017 Schedule Centralized Seat Allotment Registration, GATE Counselling Dates, Procedure, Locking Choice Filling, Seats Allocation Letter

CCMT 2017 is the centralised counselling for the admission in the program of M. Tech. or M. Plan. The candidate should know that the GATE 2017 and CCMT 2017 are the common platforms for the program of M.Des, M. Plan, M.Arch and M. Tech. CCMT 2017 Centralized counselling will be based on the score card of GATE 2017 and GATE 2016. The admission procedure will be carried out for getting admissions in the various NITs (National Institutes of Technology) present in the country along with some technical institutions that are centrally funded.

Some of the centrally funded institutes are IIITM Gwalior, PDPM IIITDM Jabalpur, SLIET Longowal, NIFFT Ranchi, SPA Vijayawada, IIIT Allahabad, Central University of Rajasthan, Institute of Technology, Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya, Bilaspur, and IIEST Shibpur. Three new participating Institutes namely PEC University of Technology, Chandigarh, IIITD&M Kancheepuram and NIT Uttarakhand. It should be noted by the candidates who are applying for CCMT 2017, no admission will be given to part-time and sponsored seats.

CCMT 2017 Admission Procedure

The admission process of CCMT 2017 includes following steps in the Admission/counselling process and seat allotment for the session of 2017-

  • Registration
  • Filling of choices
  • Locking the choices of the course and the institutions
  • Acceptance of seat by paying the fees
  • Reporting to the allotted college after the payment of fees
  • Payment of balance fees at the allotted college

Eligibility Criteria of Gate counselling 2017 and CCMT 2017

  • The candidate should have a valid score of GATE 2016 and GATE 2017.
  • The candidate should have scored 65% marks in the qualifying degree in the case of general category. In the case of OC/OB, the marks required for the qualification of CCMT 2017 is 60% while in the case of SC/ST/PWD, the candidates required to score 55% marks in their qualifying examination.

CCMT 2017 Seats allotment

  • The counselling of CCMT 2017 will be conducted in the online mode and the seat allotment will be based on the score of GATE and their choice of courses along with the institutions.
  • Only after paying the fees, the candidate will report to the allotted institution.
  • The candidate is required to verify their original documents along with their photocopies.

CCMT Spot Round Counselling

CCMT Spot Round Counselling is a National Spot Round (NSR). It will be organised after main counselling rounds for remaining vacant seats by CCMT. Here also only eligible candidates can participate in counselling. Candidates who didn’t register during main counselling are also permitted for spot round of counselling as well as who had reported/admitted and withdrawn later are also eligible for this round.

Documents Required

List of Documents which will be Verification:

  • Print out copy of the registration form and locked choices.

  • Seat allotment letter provided by CCMT website.

  • Photo ID Proof

  • Payment receipt for seat acceptance fee

  • GATE score card copy with self attested.

  • Original mark sheet of 12th standard

  • Valid Birth Certificate issued by a competent authority or High School Board Certificate as DOB proof.

  • Degree or provisional certificate, if the degree is completed.

  • Mark sheet of qualifying examination of all semesters.

  • Migration certificate

  • Conduct, transfer and course completion certificate from the Head of the institute

  • Category certificate

  • Disability Certificate (if applicable)

  • Three-Four colour passport size photographs

  • One set of Xerox copies of all the original documents with self attested.
