CLAT Counselling 2017

The admission to undergraduate and PG courses for law courses in various available universities of India is conducted through CLAT (Common Law Admission Test). CLAT is conducted for those applicants who are looking for making their career in integrated LLB and LLM programs. This year the standard procedure for getting admission in these universities will be through CLAT 2017 examination only. CLAT counselling 2017 will be organized on merit cum preference basis only. The total seats assigned for undergraduate course is 2252 seats and for post, graduate is 604 seats.

CLAT 2017 Eligibility Criteria

The CLAT 2017 Eligibility Criteria given below-  

CLAT UG Programme: applicants should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with the minimum of 45% marks and in the case of applicants of SC/ST category marks required should be 40%. Candidates who are giving their final qualifying examinations in the month of March and April 2017 can also apply for CLAT 2017.

Age of the candidates should be below 20 years and in the case of OBC / SC / ST category, it is below 22 years.

CLAT PG Programme: Applicants seeking admission to this programme require the degree of L.L.B. or equivalent one with minimum marks of 55% on their scorecard and in the case of SC/ST minimum marks requirement is 50%.

CLAT Seat Allotment 2017

The announcement of CLAT Seat Allotment 2017 has been started in the month of December 2016. Forms for CLAT Seat Allotment 2017 can be filled online from January 1, 2017. The last date to apply online is March 31, 2017. CLAT 2017 application forms can be filled online only after one will get registered himself or herself in common law admission test. Registration for CLAT 2017 is an easy process which requires only your valid mail i.d with your contact number.

CLAT Counselling 2017 Procedure

The CLAT counselling procedure 2017 for admission to CLAT institutions is as below:

#1 First of all check Merit Cum Preference list University wise. Students can access the list through the website.

#2 The selected candidates need to pay the CLAT counselling fee of Rs. 50,000 and choose any from lock: By choosing lock option, Shifting and Reserving their seat.

#3 Second list release with the name of finalized candidates and waitlisted candidates

#4 Publication of 3rd List allotting seats of candidates and List of waitlisted candidates

#5 Fourth list of seats allowed candidates

#6 Reporting & Completion of Admission Formalities at the Allotted NLUs

MMMUT Counselling 2017

The seat allotted candidates are required to approach the allotted NLU with admission fee. Candidates need to carry all the necessary original documents. Without documents submission at the time of admission are not allowed for admission. Students who do not appear at the allotted NLU at given time period they will automatically lose their chance of admission.
